DMR-X

DMR-X™, or Data Management Rights Exchange, is the quintessential feature of the platform developed by LEENK Inc. The procedure of exchanging Data Management Rights (DMR) between two users is complete when two account have been “leenk-ed” (or “connected”). Once the DMR-X procedure has been completed, each user can selectively distribute his (Private) Data to the other user he is leenk-ed with.

Starting the DMR-X™ procedure

Users can start the DMR-X™ procedure in 5 different ways:

When you open the LEENK-R™ screen, “The Eye” (left tab) is able to scan the QR-code contained within “The Eye” (right tab) of another user.

NB: In order to read a QR-code, the camera of your phone must be switched on NB: A QR-code containing a LEENK-ID can also be read from paper (when printed on a business card) or when visualized on a computer screen (eg. when forwarded by e-mail)

When you open the LEENK-R™ screen, you can click a profile shown in the Bluetooth™ section.

In order to find other users, the Bluetooth™ technology must be switched on and the app will visualize users that have the Bluetooth™ technology switched and are in a range of up to 8 metres (or that have been in this range in the past, when both had the Bluetooth™ technology switched on). When you open the LEENK-R™ screen, you can gently approach you mobile device to another user’s mobile device
The other user must also have his mobile opened with the LEENK-R™ screen active.

If the person you are looking for isn’t a so-called “Ghost” (meaning that he does not want to appear in the so called “myProfile directory”), then you can start the procedure by clicking onto his name, once you’ve found him/her, using their Given Name and/or their Family Name.

Within this directory user profiles are shown according to the user’s choices.
The user’s entry can range from a simple name up to a complete curriculum vitae.

If the person you are looking for is a so-called “Ghost” (meaning that he does not want to appear in the so called “myProfile directory”), then the only way to “leenk” 😊 (or “connect”) is to have him/her copying their LEENK-ID (he/she can find it within “The VAULT”) and, then, sharing it with you.

Completing the DMR-X™ procedure

Once the other user has received your request to connect (or “leenk” 😊), the other user can decide whether he wants to accept it or not. If the request is not accepted within 7 days, then the request is rejected automatically. If the request is accepted, the DMR-X procedure is complete.
